Day 1 - Arrival to Mumbai

Day 9 - Explore temples in Chennai
After breakfast, your tour guide will take you for a temple tour in Chennai. Explore the historic temples of Chennai - Marundeeswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it is a place of curative worship for people with diseases. Visit Arupadai Veedu Murugan Temple and Ashtalakshmi Temple, dedicated to the goddess Lakshmi, and her eight primary forms. Then visit Annai Vailankanni Shrine, a Gothic-style Catholic pilgrimage destination with a small museum.

Day 10 - Day trip to Kanchipuram (optional)
After breakfast, travel to Kanchipuram and visit Kamakshi Amman Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple, and Devarajaswami Temple.
Explore Kanchipuram local market, then visit a silk-weaving factory and see traditional weavers at work still using century old methods for silk production. Travel back to Chennai.

Mahabalipuram is an ancient place known for rock-cut built-up architectures with extensive carvings. The city is famous for its 7th and 8th century cave temples.
Day 11 - Day trip to Mahabalipuram
Travel to Mahabalipuram, explore and observe the fine sculptures of the various monuments in the city. The iconic Shore Temple, among the oldest temples of South India, is carved out of a large block of granite. ‘Pancha Rathas’ or the five chariots are carved out of a single rock.
